To begin with, please follow this Google Forms link to complete your Baseline Assessment. These are your current stated intentions for coaching. We will use this intake to create Test Phrases for our work together against which we judge by results. This needs to be completed before your first session:

Attached here is the PDF of your Traumarama Coaching Session Worksheet. This is a blank form I’d like you to use in session to handwrite notes on what you’re learning, your homework assignment and your takeaway. By the end of a package you should have a worksheet per session to serve as your toolbox for self-mastery:

They are not presented as therapy, counseling, advice-giving, mental health care, or treatment for substance abuse, and is not intended as a replacement for counseling, psychiatric interventions, treatment for mental illness, recovery from past abuse, professional medical advice, financial assistance, legal counsel, or other professional services.
In this video, acclaimed psychiatrist Bessel van der Kolk, author of “The Body Keeps The Score,” discusses the widespread existence of trauma and how it manifests in our bodies.
Bessel van der Kolk has studied trauma for 50 years. Though we once considered trauma exclusive to veterans and people growing up in extreme circumstances, we now know it is an extremely common experience. Van der Kolk discusses the impact of trauma and the pathway to healing.
This video, developed by The Trauma Foundation, an educational resource to healthcare practitioners, gives a basic introduction and overview of how trauma and chronic stress affects our nervous system and how those effects impact our health and well-being. Much of the content is based on the groundbreaking work of Stephen Porges and his Polyvagal Theory and inspired and informed by the work of thought leaders Deb Dana, Vincent Felitti, Robert Anda, Gabor Mate, Dan Siegel and Peter Levine.
Here, a classmate from the Polyvagal Institute asks Dr. Stephen Porges what is happening, physiologically, during a trauma release. Based in his own understanding and influenced by others in the field, this is his answer.
The following video is dedicated to the topic of Resistance, all those sneaky things we do when confronted with a Threshold of Change, the self-sabotaging strategies we employ to avoid truly evolving in significant ways on a personal growth or spiritual journey. I got resistance, you got resistance, everyone got resistance. We have to name it to tame it.
Originally conceived within the context of a spiritual practice, I use the terms student/teacher throughout this presentation, but everything discussed can be applied to coaching , as well.
This is a quick tutorial on the physical movements of prostrations, which we use in combination with Statements of Will.
